Mayor of Panama City: Panama's second-largest bank will launch Bitcoin account service "
Online reports, according to News.bitcoin, Panama City Mayor Mayer Mizrachi announced a number of measures at the Bitcoin 2025 conference. Mayer Mizrachi revealed that Panama's second-largest bank, Caja de Ahorros, will launch BTC based savings accounts that will allow its customers to take advantage of these escrow services and simplify their Bitcoin experience. Previously, it was reported that the mayor of Panama City said that he planned to give priority to ships paying canal fees in Bitcoin and considered establishing a municipal Bitcoin reserve.
