Chery Automobile's IPO application was approved by HKEX (00388.HK) , with an expected fundraising amount of US$1.5-2 billion, a media quoted sources as saying.
At the end of last month, reports suggested that Chery plans to launch its Hong Kong IPO as early as this month. The Company's proposed issuance of overseas-listed ordinary shares has been filed with the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) on 27 August, and its preliminary prospectus was resubmitted and updated on 29 August.
Chery Automobile submitted its listing application on 28 February 2025, with 9M24 revenue of RMB182 billion.
