Tether disclosed part of its investment portfolio: it has invested in more than 120 companies, focusing on Bitcoin, payments and other areas

On July 23, Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino said Tether announced part of its investment/venture capital portfolio today. Overall, Tether has invested in more than 120 companies, and this number is expected to grow significantly in the coming months and years. Companies invested in include Juventus, Bitdeer, Crystal Intelligence, Rumble, Shiga Digital, etc. These investments all come from Tether's own profits (US$13.7 billion in 2024) and do not involve reserve assets of USDT (and other stablecoins). They fall within the scope of Tether's investment division. Focus on key areas such as payment infrastructure, renewable energy, Bitcoin, agriculture, artificial intelligence and tokenization.
