Telegram founder accuses French media of remaining silent on his interviews and long-term smearing

According to online reports, Telegram founder Pavel Durov said in his channel statement that his exclusive interview with Tucker Carlson a week ago on the situation in France was widely reported by multinational media, but the French media "collectively silenced." He pointed out that the French mainstream newspaper Le Monde published 40 negative reports on Telegram in the seven weeks after his arrest, 37 of which did not seek any platform comment and ignored the factual corrections they issued. Durov said that this public opinion environment is worrying and highlights the importance of Telegram in providing diverse perspectives.
