US Media: Israel says Iran is close to building a nuclear bomb, but US intelligence says it is "too early"?

According to Internet reports, according to CNN, when Israel launched a series of strikes against Iran last week, it also issued a series of serious warnings about the country's nuclear program, implying that Iran is rapidly approaching a point of no return on its path to obtaining nuclear weapons. In order to prevent this outcome, strikes are necessary. But according to four people familiar with the matter, a U.S. intelligence assessment came to a different conclusion-not only has Iran not actively sought to build nuclear weapons, it is also three years away from being able to produce and launch nuclear weapons at targets of its choice. According to a U.S. official, despite several days of Israeli air strikes, U.S. intelligence officials currently believe that Israel may have only set back Iran's nuclear program by a few months at most. Although Israel caused significant damage to Iran's nuclear facility at Natanz, another fortified uranium enrichment base in Fordo was actually unaffected.
