It is reported that at the end of 2024, there were media reports that Hon Hai Group, the parent company of Foxconn Technology Group, was trying to contact Nissan Motor and acquire its controlling stake. Hon Hai Group not only hoped to acquire Nissan's factories and equipment, but also planned to acquire Nissan's entire business.
