The EU has issued MiCA licenses to 53 crypto companies, including 14 stablecoin issuers and 39 crypto asset service providers."
According to online reports, the latest data shared by Circle executive Patrick Hansen shows that the European Union has currently issued MiCA licenses to 53 institutions, allowing them to "pass through passports" within 30 countries in the European Economic Area and provide services without applying one by one. Among them, 14 companies are allowed to issue stablecoins or electronic currency tokens (EMT), including Circle, Crypto.com, Societe Generale, Stablemint, Quantoz and StablR;Tether, as a USDT issuer, has not yet obtained compliance license and is not included in the list. The other 39 approved crypto asset service providers (CASPs) include BBVA, Robinhood, Coinbase, Kraken and OKX. Binance does not appear on this list.
