Xiaomi EV continued to deliver over 30,000 units in August 2025, the electric vehicle (EV) unit of Xiaomi (HKG: 1810, OTCMKTS: XIACY) announced today on Weibo.
As before, Xiaomi EV did not disclose specific figures. This marks the second consecutive month Xiaomi EV's monthly deliveries surpassed 30,000 units.
For July deliveries, Xiaomi EV previously also said they exceeded 30,000 units without specifying the exact number.
According to China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) data, Xiaomi EV delivered 30,452 units in July, marking a 19.61 percent increase from June's 25,459 units.
Xiaomi officially launched the SU7 electric sedan on March 28, 2024, positioning it as a competitor to Tesla's (NASDAQ: TSLA) Model 3.
On February 27, Xiaomi launched the SU7 Ultra, a performance-enhanced electric sedan based on the standard SU7 model.
On June 26, Xiaomi rolled out the YU7, its first electric SUV (sport utility vehicle) and a competitor to Tesla's Model Y.
The YU7 received 200,000 firm orders within the first three minutes of sales and surpassed 240,000 locked-in orders within 18 hours, Xiaomi previously announced.
On July 6, Xiaomi EV commenced deliveries of the YU7.
The surge of orders following the YU7's launch has pushed Xiaomi EV to unprecedented factory capacity constraints.
Consumers currently reserving the YU7 face delivery wait times of up to 56 weeks, according to information displayed on Xiaomi EV's mobile app.
Xiaomi EV began large-scale recruitment for its phase two factory in early July to prepare for mass production.
