According to online reports, Tether and Bitfinex invested in Twenty One Capital and transferred more than 25,812 bitcoins in total. Paolo Ardoino, a senior executive at Tether and Bitfinex, said,"Tether participated in the initial equity financing of Twenty One Capital (XXI), to which Tether has transferred a total of 18,812 bitcoins (of which 14,000 were transferred today;4,812 were transferred May 10). At the same time, Bitfinex also transferred 7,000 bitcoins today to support the investment."
