Hivemapper's Bee Maps announced a partnership with online ride-hailing giant Lyft
Internet reports that Bee Maps, a project owned by Solana's decentralized mapping network Hivemapper, announced a partnership with online ride-hailing giant Lyft to provide it with real-time updated road data. The cooperation marks the beginning of shared mobility companies to adopt blockchain-driven crowdsourced map solutions. Hivemapper collects real-time road information (such as construction areas, traffic sign changes, etc.) through an AI driving recorder, and contributors can receive encryption rewards. Bee Maps, as its application layer, uses AI to process these crowdsourced data and continuously update high-precision maps. The cooperation comes as another Solana eco-map project, NATIX, announced a similar cooperation with ride-hailing service Grab.
