Deutsche Bank: Interest rate cut expectations combined with Trump's pressure on the dollar to rebound may be limited

According to online reports, Michael Pfister of Deutsche Bank Research Department said that the US dollar may rise in the short term, but the increase may be limited. The dollar's recent weakness may now be excessive, allowing a small rebound. However, the prospect of a Fed rate cut should curb any rebound in the dollar. In addition, Trump's calls for interest rate cuts and attacks on the independence of the Federal Reserve will also curb the recovery. Deutsche Bank expects the Federal Reserve to cut interest rates in September. As a result, he believes that the current phase of the dollar's recovery is unlikely to last for long. (Jin Shi)
