Trump refuses to cut trillion-dollar military budget

Internet reports that on May 24, local time, U.S. President Trump delivered a speech at the graduation ceremony of the West Point Military Academy in New York. When talking about the military budget, Trump said he would not cut the country's $1 trillion defense budget. Trump said: "A $1 trillion military budget. 1 trillion US dollars! Someone asked if it could be cut? I made it clear-not even 10 cents less. To cut back, we can start from countless other places... "If approved by Congress, the United States will enter the" trillion-dollar defense budget era "from October 1 this year, when the 2026 fiscal year begins. This will increase nearly 12% from the fiscal year 2025 defense budget.
