Yuga Lab Joint Venture: AIP-596 on the proposal to dissolve ApeCoin DAO has officially started voting, ending on June 26
According to online reports, Yuga Labs co-founder Garga.eth announced on the X platform that AIP-596, the proposal to dissolve ApeCoin DAO, has officially started voting, aiming to further promote the reform of the ApeCoin ecosystem and orderly transfer of assets and responsibilities to ApeCo, a new entity established by Yuga Labs. It is reported that the new entity team will be composed of Cameron Kates, current executive director of the ApeFoundation, as well as other foundation members and Banana Bill team members. Garga.eth reminded that this AIP requires a large number of votes to be passed. It is estimated that 3.5% of all circulating tokens will be required to participate in the voting and an absolute majority of 66% will be required. According to voting information, this voting will end on June 26., the current approval ratio is 99.19%.
