According to online reports, hardware wallet maker Ledger has sold more than 7 million devices and currently manages about 20% of the world's crypto assets, worth approximately US$400 billion. As the price of Bitcoin climbed from $68,000 to $98,000, Ledger hardware sales tripled and its Ledger Live app transaction volume surged 3.5 times. Ledger CEO Pascal Gauthier said the company is expanding from cryptocurrency security to the broader field of cybersecurity. The Security Key application launched in September this year has entered the certification market, which is expected to reach US$40 billion by 2030.
