U.S. House of Representatives procedural votes to advance so-called 'big and beautiful' bill

Online reports, according to CCTV News, on July 2 local time, the U.S. House of Representatives held multiple rounds of procedural votes to advance U.S. President Trump's large-scale tax and spending bill, also known as the so-called "Big and Beautiful" bill. This is a key threshold for whether the bill can enter the formal debate and voting process. If all procedural votes are passed, the House will enter formal debate and voting on the bill. At present, the results of the above procedural vote have not yet been reached. On July 1, the U.S. Senate narrowly passed the so-called "big and beautiful" bill pushed by U.S. President Trump and submitted it to the House of Representatives. Due to major changes compared with the version previously passed by the House of Representatives, the bill needs to be re-approved by the House of Representatives before it can be submitted to the President of the United States for signature and becoming law.
