Recent incidents include the three-week detention and torture of an Italian tourist in New York and the attempted kidnapping of the family of French crypto executives, highlighting the real security threats facing the crypto industry. At least three companies specializing in crypto insurance and security are known to be preparing tailor-made kidnapping and ransom (K&R) insurance policies for digital asset investors. Rebecca Rubenfeld, chief operating officer of AnchorWatch, said that at the Bitcoin conference in Las Vegas, security issues became the focus of attention of participants. Joseph Ziolkowski, CEO of Relm Insurance, pointed out that their premium pricing for the crypto industry is evaluated based on customers 'physical and cybersecurity measures.
