Trump's military parade is sponsored by technology giants such as Coinbase sparking controversy
On June 16, according to TheVerge, U.S. President Trump led a military parade for the 250th anniversary of the founding of the U.S. military on June 14 (his 79th birthday). The event was partially funded by major technology companies such as Coinbase, Amazon, Oracle, and Palantir. The military parade was hosted by America250, a non-profit organization designated by Congress, with a budget of up to US$45 million. Although it was named to celebrate the history of the military, it was actually accused of being tied to Trump's personal political image. Its funding from the scientific and technological community triggered public relations risks and public opinion controversy.
