According to online reports, Tim Beiko, head of agreement support at the Ethereum Foundation, issued a document saying that the Pectra upgrade will be available on the main network on May 7, and the expected epoch height is 364032. It is reported that Pectra has introduced EIP-7702, which allows standard Ethereum accounts (EOAs) to extend smart contract functions to support use cases such as bulk transactions, Gas sponsorship or social recovery; for pledgers, Pectra has introduced the function of increasing the effective balance of the verifier.
