XRP Ledger's Ethereum virtual machine-compatible sidechain has been officially launched on the main network
Online reports that XRP Ledger's Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatible sidechains have been officially launched on the main network, allowing developers to build, port and deploy cross-chain Ethereum-compatible applications within their ecosystem. As a parallel blockchain, the XRPL EVM sidechain combines XRP Ledger's low-cost transaction capabilities with Ethereum's smart contract capabilities, providing new development space for decentralized applications (including lending, tokenization and payments).
