A whale shorted a package of altcoins and lost US$12.48 million
According to online reports, according to monitoring by online analyst Ai Yi (@ai_9684xtpa), smart money that spent US$2.82 million to leverage 14.81 million USDe earnings from shorting a basket of altcoins has lost US$12.48 million. It only goes long in BTC and AAVE, and only 38% of the remaining 26 token positions that it short are in floating profit status, with a cumulative floating loss of US$12.48 million. The floating loss of XRP single currency alone is as high as US$9 million.
