PIMCO: Investors expected to continue withdrawing from U.S. assets

According to online reports, Pacific Investment Management Corporation (PIMCO) said in a report that the trend of investors withdrawing from U.S. assets and the steeper U.S. bond yield curve is expected to continue in the second half of this year. "We expect the investment script for the first half of 2025 to remain relevant in multiple ways," the report said. This includes the continued depreciation of the dollar and the widening gap between short-term and long-term U.S. bond yields. "We believe that the global market will continue to outperform the United States." PIMCO favors global short-and medium-term bonds. It also believes that central banks may cut interest rates more than expected. (Jin Shi)
