BlackRock's BUIDL Fund invests US$2.7 billion in Ethereum Ecosystem "
Online reports, according to Tokocrypto News, BlackRock's tokenized money market fund BUIDL (USD Institutional Digital Liquidity Fund), the world's largest asset management company, has invested approximately US$2.7 billion in the Ethereum ecosystem, accounting for 92% of its total assets. Launched in March 2024, the fund's assets have grown rapidly from the initial US$667 million to the current US$2.7 billion. BUIDL is a tokenized money market fund that provides institutional investors with investment opportunities in liquid assets such as U.S. Treasury bonds and repurchase agreements. Each BUIDL token is anchored 1:1 to the U.S. dollar. In addition to Ethereum, BlackRock has also extended BUIDL to seven blockchain networks, including Solana, Aptos, Arbitrum, Avalanche, Optimism and Polygon, to achieve better efficiency and scalability.
