Internet reported that the yield on Japan's 40-year government bonds rose 6 basis points to 3.675%, hitting its highest level since issuance began in 2007. Earlier, Bank of Japan deliberative member Asahi Noguchi said that it was inappropriate to intervene rashly to correct the trend of bond yields.
