Report shows: Hong Kong's global competitiveness has returned to the top three
According to online reports, the International Institute for Management Development in Lausanne, Switzerland, released the "2025 World Competitiveness Annual Report" on the 17th. Hong Kong's global competitiveness ranking rose two places to third place in the world, returning to the top three for the first time since 2019. The Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Li Jiachao, met with the media before attending the Executive Council that day and said that the annual report integrates objective data and business opinions and other factors to assess the competitiveness of economies around the world. The annual report shows that Hong Kong's competitiveness has improved significantly, with a total score of 99.2 points out of 100 points, an increase of 7.7 points, the highest increase among the top ten.
