According to online reports, South Korea's Finance Minister said that South Korea and the United States have reached consensus on measures such as tariff and non-tariff barriers, economic security, investment cooperation and monetary policy. South Korea's Ministry of Industry said that South Korea's Minister of Industry requested the United States to waive reciprocal tariff measures on specific projects. South Korea's Industry Minister expressed public concern about U.S. tariff measures. In addition, South Korea's Finance Minister said technology-level talks between South Korea and the United States will be held in Seoul on May 15 and 16.
