The US Senate will hold a final vote on the stablecoin bill GENIUS, Trump family's crypto links sparks controversy

Internet reports that the U.S. Senate will hold a final vote on the U.S. stablecoin National Innovation Guidance Act (GENIUS Act) on Tuesday. The bill requires stablecoins to be fully backed by liquid assets such as U.S. dollars, and prohibits non-financial companies such as Meta and Amazon from issuing stablecoins. The bill, which had previously raised concerns about the Trump family's encryption project, has now included provisions that restrict government officials from participating in distribution. Although the Trump family's business is not directly governed by the bill, related conflicts of interest still cause political differences.
