Morgan Stanley strategist: Geopolitically-triggered sell-offs usually fade quickly
According to online reports, according to Bloomberg, Morgan Stanley strategist Wilson said that although the U.S. strike on Iran's nuclear facilities has dominated the headlines, sell-offs triggered by geopolitical events usually last for a short time. After the United States joined Israel's attack over the weekend, the market reaction was relatively mild, with Brent crude oil prices rising 5.7% at one point, but gave up most of the gains on Monday. However, Iran may respond to the escalation by interfering with navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, an important global transportation route for oil and natural gas.
