Crypto asset manager CoinShares receives EU-wide MiCA license
According to online reports, crypto asset management company CoinShares has received a MiCA license issued by the French Financial Markets Authority (AMF), becoming the first European asset management company to provide crypto portfolio management services within the EU. This license combines its existing MiFID and AIFM qualifications, making it the only major European crypto asset management institution to hold all three major compliance licenses. CoinShares said the move will help expand its business in the EU-27 and promote the transition of the traditional asset management industry to crypto products.
