Chairman of the U.S. Digital Assets Subcommittee cancels meeting with Ripple CEO and will not reschedule

Internet reports that Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse posted a post on the X platform saying that he went to Washington, D.C. to advocate reasonable legislation on stablecoins and market structures to support cryptocurrencies, and called on U.S. government officials to treat cryptocurrencies the way they should. However, Senator Cynthia Lummis, chairman of the U.S. Digital Assets Subcommittee, canceled the meeting between the two parties and will not be rescheduled. Brad Garlinghouse called on Cynthia Lummis to reconsider meeting to discuss how to build the United States into the world's cryptocurrency capital.
