Australia's trade balance shows smaller surplus than expected

Ramberg Australia's trade surplus on goods declined to A$4.61B in September 2024 from a downwardly revised A$5.28B in August, falling short of market expectations for a gain of A$5.30B.It was the smallest trade gain since March as exports fell more than imports.Exports fell 4.3% driven by other mineral fuels, while imports fell 3.1% driven by fuels and lubricants.ETFs: (EWA), (FXA), (FLAU).Currencies: (AUD:USD) (USD:AUD)
