A user lost mnemonic words and lost more than 30.6 million ABs

On June 15, it was reported that with AB's successful launch of Binance Alpha, trading activity increased significantly. However, there was also a regrettable piece of news from the community: a user asked the official for help, saying that his wallet (address: NEW182 MerALZsCfbnMaUodWhsAKu2v1EkYC2CrK) originally contained 30,604,073 ABs, but due to the loss of the mnemonic, it was impossible to access the wallet again. The official provided assistance as soon as possible and verified that the wallet did contain a large amount of AB. However, due to the architectural characteristics of the decentralized wallet, no one (including the project party) can restore wallet permissions because the mnemonic is lost and no backup is made. Users with higher assets are recommended to consider using hardware wallets or deploy a multisignature (Multisig) scheme to avoid asset risks.
