Crypto PAC will support Florida Republican House candidate

The Internet reported that the super Political Action Committee (Super PAC) network funded by the crypto industry will support two Florida Republican candidates in the April 1 special election to the U.S. House of Representatives. The network includes Fairshake, Defend American Jobs and Protect Progress. Among them, Defend American Jobs will place a $1.2 million ad in support of Florida Senator Randy Fine. Fine once wrote on the X platform: "Floridians want to see encryption innovation" and called for "clear regulatory rules." The Super PAC will also commit $345,000 to support Jimmy Patronis, who plans to run for the seat of former Rep. Matt Gaetz. Patronis previously wrote to the Florida Governing Council requesting a study on whether some state pensions could be invested in digital assets. Currently, there are 4 vacant seats in the U.S. House of Representatives, two of which are in Florida. If Democrats win all seats, Republicans will have only one vote in the House.
