According to online reports, payment giant MoneyGram announced the launch of MoneyGram Ramps, a compliant cryptocurrency application program interface service for developers. It aims to simplify the connection between cash and cryptocurrency, allowing wallets, exchanges and financial technology applications to access MoneyGram's global cash network to embed the deposit and withdrawal function of cryptocurrency. It is reported that this service is supported by the Stellar blockchain and Circle's U.S. dollar stablecoin USDC.
