Internet reports, Cryptonews reports that the Russian Embassy in Washington, D.C., has asked the U.S. State Department to provide Moscow with an update on the situation of Dmitry Vasiliev, former CEO of cryptocurrency exchange WEX. Russian state news agency TASS reported that the embassy had formally submitted a request to the State Council. The embassy said it was "closely monitoring the situation of Dmitry Vasiliev" and asked the U.S. State Department to provide information on Vasiliev's location, health and procedural status as soon as possible. Earlier, Poland arrested the former CEO of Russia's CEX WEX and would extradite it to the United States.
