The history of Doosan Group dates back to August 1, 1896, when founder Park Seung-jik established 'Park Seung-jik Store.' With over 120 years of history, it is the only modern enterprise from the late Joseon Dynasty still in operation today and the first Korean family business to achieve third-generation succession. In 1995, Doosan Group was certified by the Korea Kim's Record Association as Korea's oldest company.
