Vitalik: Future democratic systems may reduce reliance on "transparency and accountability"
On May 21, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin issued a document saying that the future trend of democratic systems may reduce reliance on "transparency and accountability", shift to more indirect methods, and provide more space for (diverse, aggregated) personal consciences. For example, voting on United Nations resolutions should be a secret vote, and each country can choose (and change) its own representatives, but once a choice is made, what the representatives do is up to their own conscience. This also applies to the DAO.
