Decentralized messaging protocol XMTP completes US$20 million in Series B financing, led by a16z crypto and others
Internet reports that Ephemera, a decentralized messaging protocol XMTP development company, completed a US$20 million Series B financing, jointly led by Union Square Ventures, a16z crypto and Lightspeed Factor, with Coinbase Ventures, Offline Ventures, Sound Ventures and Distributed Global participating. After this round of financing, Ephemera's equity is valued at US$300 million, while the broader network covering the XMTP protocol, which will issue tokens, is valued at US$750 million.
