According to online reports, the Turkish Capital Market Commission (SPK) announced the ban on the decentralized trading platform PancakeSwap on the grounds that it provided crypto asset services to Turkish residents without permission. This action is implemented in accordance with relevant provisions of the Capital Market Law. The ban is one of the larger rectification actions to crack down on unlicensed platforms, involving more than 60 encryption and foreign exchange websites.
