Coinbase director: "$8 billion in BTC transfer from a 14-year-old whale" may involve private key leakage "

According to online reports, Coinbase director Conor Grogan posted on social media that yesterday's "$8 billion BTC transfer from the ancient whale of Bitcoin that has been dormant for 14 years" may have the private key stolen or leaked. Conor found that one hour before the giant whale wallet made a large-scale transfer of BTC assets, one of the wallets made a test transaction for Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and immediately transferred out all BCH. Conor believes this behavior pattern is unusual. Other BCH wallets, which are usually less concerned by whale monitoring services, have not been used. It may be a low-key way to test private keys. He speculated that these wallets are unlikely to be exchange wallets. Conor said that although this is only speculation, if true, this may be the largest digital asset theft case in human history.
