Bitcoin miner Cipher Mining plans to issue convertible senior notes to raise $150 million
According to online reports, Cipher Mining, a Nasdaq-listed bitcoin mining company, announced plans to issue convertible senior notes due 2030 based on market and other conditions. It is reported that Cipher Mining will use the funds raised this time to complete the first phase of construction of the Black Pearl data center project. In addition, while issuing the notes, Cipher Mining also announced that Morgan Stanley, on behalf of itself and/or its affiliates, plans to issue a certain amount of common shares borrowed from third parties through a separate underwriting issue to facilitate hedging transactions by some note buyers.
