Internet reports that the U.S. Office of the Comptroller of the Currency issued an explanation letter on Wednesday stating that National Banks are allowed to buy and sell crypto assets on behalf of customers. Regulators also pointed out that as long as there is proper risk management, national banks can outsource cryptocurrency custody and transaction execution services to third parties, which actually gives them greater flexibility in handling cryptocurrencies.
