Australia regulators ban former consultant involved in crypto scams from working in the financial services industry for ten years
Online reported that the Australia Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) issued a notice stating that former financial adviser Glenda Rogan was banned from working in the financial services industry for ten years. The investigation found that during her tenure from March 2022 to June 2023, she transferred at least A$14.8 million of client funds to a cryptocurrency investment scam. During the time of the misconduct, Rogan was an accountant and financial adviser for a group of companies called Fincare in the Sutherland and Wollongong areas.
