Trump poll approval rating drops to record low
According to online reports, according to a report on the US Newsweek website on June 28, the latest Newsweek poll showed that US President Trump's approval rating fell to a record low. The survey showed that 43% of Americans are currently satisfied with Trump's performance, 53% are dissatisfied, and his net approval rating is minus 10%. Reported that this was 3 percentage points lower than the previous day, when his net approval rating was minus 7%. It was also his lowest net approval rating since April 29. According to reports, after Trump announced the Liberation Day tariffs in April this year, his poll numbers initially dropped sharply. Although his approval ratings quickly rebounded, his recent behavior appears to reignite public dissatisfaction with the White House. These include his decision to deploy the National Guard and Marine Corps to Los Angeles to suppress protests, and last weekend ordering air strikes on three Iranian nuclear facilities-which polls show a majority of voters oppose. Since then, surveys have shown Trump's approval rating has dropped to its lowest point on record. The report pointed out that several other opinion polls also showed that Trump's approval rating has dropped to a new low since his second term. The latest poll of 1590 adults conducted by U.S. Research Company/Economist from June 20 to 23 showed Trump's net approval rating is minus 14%. Similarly, a new poll of 1223 adults conducted by the Red-Bellied Gray Group between June 17 and 20 showed his net approval rating of minus 13%. The latest Ipsos/Reuters and American Research Group polls also show that Trump's net approval rating has hit a new low in his second term. (Global Times)
