Great Wall Motor (GWM) sold 104,372 vehicles in July, up 14.34 percent year-on-year but down 5.71 percent from June, according to data released today.
NEV sales in July came in at 34,593 units, up 43.27 percent year-on-year but down 4.98 percent from June.
NEVs accounted for 33.14 percent of GWM's total vehicle sales in July, setting a new record, according to data compiled by CnEVPost.
GWM sold 41,088 vehicles overseas in July, up 7.60 percent year-on-year and up 2.55 percent from June.
By brand, the Haval brand sold 56,221 vehicles in July, accounting for 53.87 percent of GWM's monthly sales.
The Tank brand sold 20,020 vehicles, accounting for 19.18 percent; Wey sold 10,045 vehicles, accounting for 9.62 percent; and the Ora brand sold 4,300 vehicles, accounting for 4.12 percent.
In the first seven months of the year, GWM sold 674,161 vehicles, up 3.57 percent year-on-year.
It sold 195,007 NEVs in the first seven months of the year, up 24.59 percent year-on-year.
Overseas sales in January-July totaled 238,746 units, down 0.39 percent year-on-year.
