Institutions: Markets wait for the minutes of the Federal Reserve meeting to be released
Online reported that gold prices did not fluctuate much on Wednesday as the market was still waiting for the minutes of the latest Federal Reserve policy meeting to be released in the early hours of Thursday morning Beijing time. Jim Wyckoff, senior analyst at Kitco Metals, said,"The recent volatility of the gold market is mainly affected by daily fundamental news and lacks a clear trend. In the short term, a market top may have formed." He added: "The minutes of this meeting may trigger market fluctuations. Investors will pay close attention to the Fed's latest stance on inflation."
