Listed company Davis Commodities launches agricultural tokenization platform and digital asset treasury strategy
Online reports that Davis Commodities, a Nasdaq-listed Singapore company, announced the launch of a digital asset treasury strategy and a blockchain-driven agricultural tokenization platform to convert major physical commodities such as sugar, rice and edible oil into tokenized, tradable digital assets. The platform is based on smart contract settlement and supports on-chain supply chain tracking, as well as tokenized mortgages, allowing institutional lenders to mortgage tokenized goods. Davis Commodities previously announced a $30 million strategic growth plan, 40% of which will be invested in Bitcoin reserves to include it on its balance sheet as a strategic financial asset.
