Russian official: U.S. resumption of arms supplies to Ukraine will not change the situation on the front line

According to online reports, Leonid Slutsky, chairman of the International Affairs Committee of the Russian State Duma, said that resuming the supply of missiles to Ukraine by the United States would be a step back, but it would not change the situation on the front line. Slutsky said that if Trump really wants to make progress in mediating the situation in Ukraine, Trump should "show his fist" to the Ukraine authorities instead of promising secondary sanctions against Russia. He also said that it is too early to talk about Russia's response, because it is first necessary to clarify what equipment the United States will provide to Ukraine.
