Internet reports that U.S. President Trump said today that he was disappointed with Musk and said that Musk knew the bill very well. The reason why he was dissatisfied was purely because the mandatory sales regulations for electric vehicles had been lifted. In response, Musk responded on social media: "casually"(the Trump administration) retained provisions in the draft to reduce electric vehicles and photovoltaic incentives, but (they) left nothing to oil and gas subsidies (which is unfair!). And this bill has never been shown to me once. It was passed quickly late at night and almost no one in Congress could read it! Throughout the entire history of civilization, there is no legislation that is "big and beautiful". Either make a "big and ugly" bill, or make a "thin and beautiful" bill, and the latter is the way out.
