CoinMarketCap: Malicious code has been identified and removed from website
According to online reports, CoinMarketCap issued a document on the X platform saying that malicious code has been identified and removed from the website, and the team is continuing to investigate and take measures to strengthen security. Previously, it was reported that the front end of CoinMarketCap was attacked, and a malicious pop-up window appeared on the website that prompted users to "verify their wallet." CoinMarketCap subsequently tweeted that it had identified and removed malicious code on the website and that all systems had returned to normal, but the tweet was deleted.
