On June 19, Linda Xie, former Scalar Capital co-founder and product leader of Coinbase, said on her X platform that she had suggested to Coinbase that they launch their own U.S. dollar stablecoin in late 2016/early 2017 and wrote a complete specification for it, but it was unsuccessful.
